Applications allow users to sign up for trainings or propose new ones they'd like to attend. Applications allow supervisors to have control over trainings and training requests. You can use applications multiple ways - create an application for a day off or for financial help.
To create new application, go to Requests/Request types and then click "Add an application type".
In "Basic info" put a name of the application and a description.
In "Notifications" you can create a notification that will be sent to users that have to accept this application. It can be a default one, pre-prepared one that you choose from the database or your own that you can create here.
In "Additional parameters" we have more options regarding this type of application.
First of all, you decide if users can submit this type of application through Requests. Next, you decide if users will see their application the whole time or if it will be hidden for them until it's accepted. Next, you can add decisions buttons at the top of the application - they allow you to quickly accept or reject an application. "Rejection of the application requires a reason" means that if someone rejects an application, they have to tell you why. In the "Name of the first step" you just name the first step. Option named "Everyone with permission to edit an application can accept workflows" allows you to accept an application even if you're not the person named in the step. "The first application workflow is skipped if the person submitting the application is first in the workflow" allows you to shorten the workflow.
"This application is for reporting for the date" - in this step you decide if this type of application will allow users to sign up for trainings.
Here you choose dates that will use this type of application. Just choose fields from the drop-down list.
When you configure everything, just click "Add".
When you do that, new tabs will become available: "Template" and "Workflows".
