Default color palette
To access interface options, go to Configuration > User interface > Branding & look.
In the Default color palette tab you can find three sections regarding different parts of the platform.
First section is called Logo and favicon. Here you can upload your own files with these images, you can also change the text displayed on a tab.
Second section is called Login page. It’s responsible for the starting point of everyday work with HCM Deck, so it’s important to take proper care of it. You can choose the image displayed there and input login suggestions (e-mail address or some ID number).
In this section you can also add a login message that will be displayed on the login page. You can change the text on it, choose colors and position.
Last section is called Color palette - here you can change colors of the menu on the left and a few other elements on the platform, for example buttons or headers.
Click Save at the bottom of the page to save any changes.
Different color palettes for different users
HCM Deck doesn’t have to look the same for every user - you can create many different color palettes.
To do that, go to Configuration > User interface > Branding & look.
First, go to Color palette settings and choose a field from users’ profiles that will determine which palette will be displayed for them.
We need an external ID of that field, for example “company”.
When you choose this field, go to Other color palettes to create them.
Add a new palette, using the button on the right.
Name them - use any name you want, it won’t affect anything.
What’s important is the ID. ID is a value defined in the user's profile in the field you’ve chosen earlier.
So, if in the field "company" in my profile I have “A” and you put this “A” here, everyone from company A, including me, will see the palette you’re creating right now.
Next you choose a logo and set colors of menu etc., just like with the default palette.
Save changes at the bottom of the page.
