Program properties
To create a program, go to Development paths > Programs and paths. Click Add and then Add a program.
Start with general data. Name your program, choose categories and add a description visible to users.
Then you can turn on and edit notifications connected to the program. You can use default notifications or create your own.
Like any other element, a program can be cyclical.
A program can be displayed on the main page as a tile. If you turn that option on, you need to choose a section on the main page for the tile.
Below you need to decide on the tile look. You can set the background, font color or icons.
Users may be able to download a certificate after they complete the program and administrators can fill additional information unique for the company.
The last step is adding the program to a folder.
Click Add at the bottom of the page and your program is ready for further configuration.
Elements of a program
Only paths can be elements of a program.
To add a path to a program, go to the Elements tab and click Add.
You will be redirected to a list of all paths on the platform. Here you can find everything that can be a part of a program.
Search for paths you want to put in the program, check them and click Next.
In the second step you need to confirm that these are indeed paths that you want to put in the program. Check them once again and click Next.
The third step is about properties of added paths. First, you need to decide if the path should be included in the progress, which means that employees will have to complete this path to complete the whole program.
Next you need to decide if these paths will require additional assignments for users. Not every path in a program has to be presented to everyone assigned to the program. You can differentiate it by assigning paths to specific groups.
Next things to decide on are the start conditions. You can set them the way that employees need to complete some paths first and these paths will unlock only after they do that. Move paths from left to right to set that.
At the end you need to set the look of the tiles. You can change the background, size or color. At the end click Add at the bottom of the page.
If you want to go back to these settings, click the number next to the path on the list.
Assignments to groups
Paths and programs can be assigned to whole groups of users to automate the process.
To do that, go to the Assignments to groups tab and click Assign groups.
Search for groups that should have access to this content.
Check them on the list and click Next.
Decide if the path or the program are mandatory for these groups and again click Next.
At the end you need to decide if users from these groups should be notified about the assignment and click Finish.
Assignments to groups automate access to content. When you add someone to a group they will automatically gain access to everything that is assigned to the group.
